Frequently asked questions

What is needed to book a party?


We require contact information, info on the guest of honor, time/date of event, and a $100 deposit due at the time of booking. Deposits are applied to the party and are non-refundable. We accept cash and all major credit cards as source of payment. No checks or money orders will be accepted.




When do I get my Private Party room?


The private party room is provided to you at the beginning of the time slot you select, we are unable to guarantee any sooner. You will have a total of 90 minutes in the party room.




Can my party guests and I stay after our party ends?


Unlimited play time is included with the party package, you and all your guests are welcome to come and go as you please.




How early can we check in for our party?


We ask guests to show up no earlier than 30 minutes prior to the party to avoid congestion at the front door. (Check-in is defined by entering the facility, entrance to the party room can not be guaranteed prior to the party time selected)




Who is required to wear socks?


Any person(s) entering The Play Space play areas must be wearing socks. All children under 14 years of age must wear grip socks. Special arrangements can be made if needed. Please see front desk for a manager.




What kind of food items can I bring for my party without an additional charge?


Any dry snacks including but not limited to popcorn, chips, Chex mix, goldfish, fruit trays/veggie trays Etc. Single serving drinks such as water bottles, juice pouches/boxes, and canned beverages will be allowed except for beer/wine and alcohol. No 2-liter bottles or gallon jugs will be permitted.




What decor can I bring?


We try to limit glitter use, however it is welcome into the party rooms. Items that go on the walls can be hung with painters tape ONLY. We will provide the painters tape, no outside adhesives/tape/command strips allowed for any reason.




Should I tip my party host?


Parties at The Play Space are full service. Our party coordinators work very hard so that you can be with your loved ones enjoying the party. If you are pleased with the service/experience, feel free to tip your party host. The average tip is between 12%-20%. Cash or Credit is accepted and 100% of your tip goes to your coordinators.




Can I bring alcohol?


No. But any party atendee of age is allowed to buy adult beverages from the cafe (limits enforced).




Do I have to fill out a waiver?


Yes. All guests/attendees will need to fill out a waiver the first time they enter our facility. Our waiver is good for 1 year from the date of completion.




Can I bring party favors/goodie bags?


Yes. We also offer goodie bags for purchase as an add-on.




Can I Extend my party time?


Based upon availability we may be able to allow party extension at a $25/15min rate. Otherwise you can always book two back to back parties for the same room to guarantee the extended time slot.
